Once the intruder has gone (with Evelyn still stuck on the end of the spear) Jody makes her way to Andy's room (Evelyns twelve year old brother). When Evelyn opens her bedroom door though she ends up getting a spear through her body - and the end of the spear pokes Jody in the naval.

This is my second Laymon novel, so I knew what to expect.sort of. Well, this was one hell of a twisted story of survival horror, that is filled to the brim with blood, guts and gore.
